Our aim is to take the effort and guesswork out of finding the best online resources that are available for the primary school curriculum. Our superb featured theme for July and August 2021 is 'Invaders and Settlers'!
For our featured theme for July and August 2021, we have completely revised and updated our Invaders and Settlers theme that was first visited in 2015. This is a truly fantastic theme with 100 great resources that study the British invasion and settlement periods of: The Romans, The Vikings, The Anglo Saxons and the Norman Conquest. In addition to exploring the raiders’ origins, invasions, settlement, lifestyle, culture and religion, the resources also cover Celtic Britain and much more.
As with all of our featured themes, the resources are made up of a mixture of teaching and investigation websites. They comprise of: information, facts, research, hands-on activities illustrations and video clips, as well as some detailed planning - each of which will effectively underpin learning whilst undertaking this historical topic.
The featured theme is normally updated monthly during the academic year.

In our featured theme for June 2021, we completely revised and updated our Communication and Conflict theme that was first visited in 2015. This is a very wide-ranging and fascinating theme and we now have 77 resources on offer. They cover: how communication can prevent and resolve conflict, conflict resolution for teachers, World War conflicts, communication technology and its development, methods of communication – including the video communication that we have all got used to using during the pandemic - and much, much more...
